Mean search time is the search request. Every configuration receives the same questions. The table is ordered by that request time, so the first row is the best fast web search API in this measurement. Accuracy and price stay on the row because a short request is useful only when the results still support the answer.
Search accuracy is whether returned results support the correct answer on current company-news questions. A fast configuration can sit well below the accuracy leader. Use the highest-accuracy card when the application needs a grounded fact, and use the latency ranking when the response budget is the constraint.
Search price is the recorded rate for the tested endpoint, stated per 1,000 queries. Model tokens and any later page scrape are outside that rate. A fast request at a higher per-query price can still be the right choice when the application makes one search and must return quickly.
Keep the query, result limit and client timeout fixed, then swap the endpoint. Measure p50 and p95 around the mean published here, and confirm the returned URL still supports the answer. These results are one factual task; repeat the check on the questions your application actually asks.
