Best company data enrichment API

Eight APIs—People Data Labs, Apollo, Parallel, Predict Leads, Explorium, CompanyEnrich, ZoomInfo, and Exa—receive the same company domain and enrich it by API calls from their official docs.

“Best” is vendor marketing until someone measures it. This is the measured answer: the same 282 human-reviewed companies, judged field by field against Ground Truth. People Data Labs currently returns the most correct data end to end (89.0% correct field yield), while Apollo is the most accurate on the fields it returns (92.6%). There is no single best on every axis — accuracy, coverage, speed, and cost favor different tools.

Which company enrichment API is best?

There isn't one best enrichment API. The right choice depends on what happens next: filling CRM records, avoiding bad overwrites, matching a prospect list, returning complete company profiles, or powering a latency-sensitive product flow. Choose the job below; each recommendation is based on the metric that matters for it.

Which provider wins depends on the use case — CRM writeback, prospecting and matching, complete company profiles, or real-time product flows. The workflows below are ranked separately for each.

Compare provider results field by field.

This is the main benchmark's per-field table for HQ location, industry, employee band, founded year, and LinkedIn URL. Each value is correct-field yield among companies carrying a reviewed reference for that attribute, so denominators differ by column.

Best enrichment API — common questions

What is the best company enrichment API in 2026?

On measured enrichment success rate, People Data Labs currently leads at 89.0%. There is no universal best on every dimension, so compare the overall provider table with the field-by-field results for the attributes your workflow writes downstream.

What is the best company enrichment tool or software for CRM data?

For CRM hygiene, use enrichment success rate — of the fields that could be filled correctly, how many were. People Data Labs is currently highest at 89.0%. If your concern is wrong values overwriting good data, use field accuracy instead: Apollo at 92.6%.

Which company enrichment vendor is cheapest?

CompanyEnrich at $2.76 for the full 282-company cohort, using each vendor's entry paid self-serve rate (free allowances and volume discounts excluded; Apollo and Explorium use recorded usage proxies). Cheapest is not best — check yield and accuracy beside cost.

What about ZoomInfo or Clay?

ZoomInfo is measured in this release through its GTM CLI/API company-enrichment flow. Compared by buyers but not measured here: Clay (waterfall enrichment across multiple providers inside its tables, not a single isolatable API). Treat its accuracy as a vendor claim until measured.

How is 'best' measured here?

Eight providers receive the same 282 company domains. The five scored fields—HQ location, industry, employee band, founded year, and LinkedIn URL—are judged against human-reviewed Ground Truth. GPT-5.6-sol at medium reasoning applies the dedicated numeric employee-band policy; GPT-5.6-terra judges the other semantic fields. Company name and domain are retained for identity audit, not scored. Audited domain and LinkedIn redirects are accepted as the same identity; headcount accepts equivalent ranges and exact counts within the reviewed policy. No vendor pays for inclusion or rank; inputs, outputs, and judgments are public and reproducible.
